Dear Tisha,
Received
your letter the day before yesterday. I am really very glad to know that you
have won the best player’s trophy at your college. In the letter, you have
wanted to know something about my last study tour.
Now I am
giving you a brief pen-picture of the same.
We, the
students of our class led by our teachers visited the office of the Atomic
Energy commission located at the City of Barishal, on the 22 January last. Two
luxurious buses were hired for the purpose. We started at our college
premises at 9.30 am and reached our destination at 11.00 am. The officers
mainly the scientists of the office were available for our guidance. First, we
were offered a light refreshment in the Hall Room.
Then they
gave us an idea of their program. They took us to different departments and
showed us their different activities one
after another. In each case, they provided us with their working system and we
took a spot note of it. It took us three hours to complete visiting their
various departments. Then we left for our college campus.
In fact, the
trip was a fruitful one and we knew about many unknown things.
